How it works

A structured path to sustainable weight loss

Specialist consultation

Start with an obesity medicine specialist consultation focused on your health history, goals, medication fit, safety considerations, and the level of support that makes sense for you.

2

Coverage and labs

Our team supports prior authorization and orders labs as needed. If insurance does not cover the medication, we can review clear cash-pay medication options with you.

3

Structured clinical support

Patients in our program achieve an average 22% weight loss, achieved safely, with sustainable outcomes supported by a physician, registered dietitians, and a structured care plan.

Coverage and cost

Insurance first, with clear cash-pay options

Most patients use insurance. When a plan does not cover the medication, flat-price compounded options are available so cost never has to be a guessing game.

Insurance and scheduling questions

Do you take my insurance?

Most insurance is accepted. Our team can help review your coverage and support the prior-authorization process when medication is clinically appropriate. Coverage depends on your specific plan, diagnosis, medication criteria, and payer rules, so we will help you understand the next step instead of leaving you to sort it out alone.

Will my GLP-1 be covered?

GLP-1 coverage varies by insurance plan. Some plans cover weight-loss medications with prior authorization, while others exclude them or require specific clinical criteria. After your consultation, our team can help submit the information your plan requires when the medication is clinically appropriate.

What if it is not covered?

If insurance does not cover the medication, or if you prefer a cash-pay path, compounded options may be available after clinical review. Compounded Semaglutide is $200 every 4 weeks. Compounded Tirzepatide is $300 every 4 weeks. The price stays flat across all doses.

How fast can I be seen, and are walk-ins welcome?

Walk-ins are welcome at the Deer Park clinic, and you can also book ahead if you prefer a scheduled visit. Appointment availability can vary by day, but the goal is to make the first step simple, whether you are ready to start now or just want to understand your options.

Can I be seen in person or by telehealth?

In-person care is available at the Deer Park, IL clinic. Telehealth is available for patients in California, Georgia, Illinois, Indiana, Michigan, Ohio, and Wisconsin. Your visit type may depend on your location, clinical needs, lab requirements, and the best way to support safe ongoing care.

Do I have to be a certain weight to be seen?

All weight groups are welcome. You do not need to fit one narrow category to ask for help with metabolic health, weight management, medication questions, or microdosing. Your clinician will review your history, goals, and safety factors before discussing what care options make sense.
