What Makes Us Different

GLP-1 medicines are too powerful to prescribe over chat. Here is what we do instead.

01

Obesity medicine specialists

Every prescriber is an MD specializing in obesity medicine. You meet one-on-one, by video consultation.

02

A plan built around you

Your plan starts from your health, your goals and what has been hard before, and it changes as you respond to treatment.

03

Clear costs before you decide

You see every option, including insurance, before you decide anything. Self-pay is charged only when your provider prescribes and you start your plan.

04

A care team that knows you

Message your care team between consultations, and see your provider again when a message is not enough.

Frequently Asked
Questions

Have other questions? Contact us at support@aayuwell.com

What happens after I answer the questions?

You pick a time for your video consultation. Your provider reads your answers before you meet, and you build your plan together at the consultation.

Do I need to visit a doctor's office?

No. Consultations are by video, and prescriptions, messages and follow-up happen through the Aayu Well app.

What happens if I am not eligible?

Your provider explains why and talks through other options with you. Self-pay patients are charged only when their provider prescribes and they start a plan.

How are medications shipped?

Self-pay medicine ships from a state-licensed pharmacy, cold-packed when needed, with tracking. With insurance, your prescription goes to your pharmacy.

What if I have side effects?

Message your care team through the app. Nausea is common early on and often settles as your body adjusts, and your provider may slow the next dose change. For severe or lasting symptoms, seek urgent care. In an emergency, call 911.

Your journey to safe, sustainable weight loss

Think of it like building a house: a strong foundation first, then something that lasts. Your care moves through four phases, with medical care, nutrition and movement in each one.

Everyone's journey is a little different. Most people take 18 months to two years to reach their best weight and build habits that last. Here is how the phases work:

  • 24 Week
  • 63 Week
  • 92 Week
  • 104 Week
Leaner
6-9 MONTHS

Your care team builds your plan with you: medicine if it is right for you, food that fits your life, and movement that protects your muscle. The goal is to end up leaner and healthier, not thinner but softer.

We start with a low dose and raise it step by step, based on how you feel, to keep side effects low.

Our registered dietitian helps you turn your plan into meals you can make: protein first at every meal, and portions that fit your new appetite.

Strength work twice a week and regular walks, because muscle is what keeps your metabolism up while the weight comes off.

RESULTS

Most of the change in weight happens in this phase, while the first habits take hold.

Healthier
ABOUT 6 MONTHS

Once your dose is settled, the focus turns to habits you can keep. Regular consultations with your provider and dietitian track your progress and work through what gets in the way.

Results

Habits take root: protein at every meal, strength work, steady sleep and routines that fit your life.

Empowered
HEALTHIER HABITS

With your habits in place, you keep going with lighter support: the app, the weekly curriculum and your care team when you need them.

Beyond Medication
6-8 MONTHS

When you are ready, and only if it is right for you, we lower the dose slowly while your habits carry more of the work. The goal is weight that stays off.
